Steve Kellogg
Vice President of Construction
Mr. Kellogg joined 3DCM in 2011. With over 19 years in the construction industry, Steve has a broad range of experience in project management, general contracting and design-build work. He has successfully demonstrated the ability to complete a variety of complex projects through effective and thorough coordination with developers, architects, design engineers, local officials and subcontractors. His past responsibilities have included senior level project management as an owner’s representative, general contractor and subcontractor, estimating, contract writing, contract negotiations, project scheduling, and employee training. Steve is OSHA 30-hour certified, Red Cross CPR and First Aid trained, and holds his real estate broker’s license in Illinois
Representative projects experience includes:
Northwestern New Prentice Women’s Hospital
Senior Project Manager overseeing the purchase, delivery and installation of $19.2 million in millwork, casework, glazing, other finishes and medical lighting and equipment in a new, one million square foot state of the art facility in downtown Chicago.
University of Chicago South Campus Residence Hall
Senior Project Manager overseeing $8.4 million in general trades packages, rough and finish carpentry for an eight story facility housing more than 800 residents.
US GSA – Offices for Various Government Branches
Owner’s Representative for new office and training space for the Social Security Administration, Internal Revenue Service, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
Sara Lee Headquarters in Chicago, IL
Project Manager and Owner’s Representative for the complete rehabilitation of over 240,000 s.f. of space for office build out and new 20,000 s.f. addition to an existing eight story loft building on Goose Island. Steve has also managed several other loft rehabilitation projects in Chicago for both residential and commercial use.
Archdiocese of Chicago – St. John the Evangelist
Responsible for the construction of new Pre-school and Kindergarten classrooms in an existing church with aging infrastructure, as the first phase in what will be a complete design-build rehabilitation and expansion of the church’s current facilities.
